On February, 8th 2017, Kyle Mackall founded Sound Shack Studios. Kyle has been an audio engineer since 2014, and is a graduate of "The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts".

The studio officially opened its doors on April, 1st 2017 at our first commercial location, 2200 Hammonds Ferry Rd. Suite #D Halethorpe MD 21227.

At the end of July 2018, we closed our doors at this location.

Since August 2018, Kyle has partnered with other commercial studios in the area for recording sessions on an as needed basis.

The studio currently operate as an upstairs studio location at Zound Factory Studios. https://www.zoundfactorystudios.com/
